Chuck DeMartin : Percussion, Vocals, Kazoo
"Slick" Rick Smith: Bass, Vocals
Having played bass for several bands over the years,
including T
he Sophies, Monkee Paw, The Trend, and Earth
Bound Groove -
Rick lays down a solid bottom end, and
compliments the guitar playing of Aaron perfectly. Already a
master of the bass guitar, Rick is also a major player on the
professional R/C racing scene, building racing bodies for
competitors across the nation.
Formed as a result to various jam sessions and guest appearances at Aaron's
solo shows as well as many of the area's Open Mics, The Aaron Howell Trio/
Aaron Howell Band is one of the Ocean City area's top local draws. Using a
rotating roster of a few dedicated players, this 3 -piece act is guaranteed to
keep you movin' all night long. Playing a more rock-heavy set than his solo or
duo projects, Aaron turns your head with his bluesy guitar leads, dynamic vocal
work, and undeniable versatility.
Affectionately known throughout the area as "Chuck the Drum
Slut," Chuck is one of the best drummers in the region.
Originally hailing from New Jersey, he has played in too many
bands to mention, and is regularly called upon to fill in for
anyone in need of someone to "beat the skins."
Introduced to Aaron at a local open mic, they hit it off
immediately with their shared love of reggae and classic rock,
and their emphasis on a "solid rhythm."  Renowned for his
percussive abilities, he also plays a mean kazoo.
Performing with Aaron since 2006, Adam has
consistently been laying down the beats for the
Aaron
Howell Band
, as well as other acts such as Monkee
Paw
and Earth Bound Groove. A lover of the heavier
side of rock, his drumming provides a strong
backbone and pushes the
Aaron Howell Band to new
levels.
Adam Ask: Percussion, Vocals
Bob Harvey, Sr.
Bob Harvey first teamed up with Aaron at The Players Club jam
sessions and in the band
Jimmy Bones and the Skeleton
Crew.
Following the dissolution of the Skeleton Crew and the
Players Club
, Bob began appearing as a guest at some of
Aaron's solo shows. After a few solid gigs which also featured
Adam Ask on the drums, the first incarnation of
The Aaron
Howell Band
was formed. The rest, as they say, is history.
A versatile bass player, Bob has been performing across the
Mid-Atlantic region for several years, playing with many top
notch performers along the way.
